Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2, 2026

1. Service Description

FlightMaint is a web-based aircraft maintenance tracking and management platform ("the Service"). The Service provides tools for tracking work orders, flight reports, inspection intervals, engine life, component life, directives compliance, pilot logbooks, and related aviation maintenance records.

2. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS-IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that defects will be corrected. The Service is a record-keeping and tracking aid and does NOT replace professional judgment, FAA-required inspections, or airworthiness determinations made by qualified personnel including but not limited to certificated mechanics (A&P), Inspection Authorization (IA) holders, or Directors of Maintenance (DOM).

3. Data Accuracy & Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • All data entered into FlightMaint is provided by your organization's personnel. FlightMaint does not independently verify flight times, inspection intervals, component life limits, directive compliance, or any other data.
  • The accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all records is solely the responsibility of the operator and its designated personnel.
  • You agree to verify all calculated fields (time remaining, cycles remaining, due dates, alerts) against your physical maintenance records and manufacturer data before making any airworthiness determinations.
  • Calculations, alerts, and status indicators provided by the Service are informational aids only. They may contain errors due to incorrect input data, software defects, or edge cases not anticipated by the system.
  • You maintain responsibility for compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), including but not limited to 14 CFR Parts 21, 39, 43, 91, 135, and any applicable Operations Specifications.

4. Not a Substitute for Professional Judgment

FlightMaint provides alerts, calculations, and tracking tools to assist maintenance management. These tools are informational aids only and do not constitute airworthiness determinations, return-to-service authorizations, or maintenance approvals. The Director of Maintenance (DOM), Inspection Authorization (IA) holder, or equivalent authority remains solely responsible for determining aircraft airworthiness per 14 CFR Part 43 and Part 91.

5. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL FLIGHTMAINT, ITS DEVELOPERS, AFFILIATES, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

This includes but is not limited to damages arising from: grounded aircraft, missed inspections, regulatory non-compliance, FAA enforcement actions, personal injury, property damage, loss of revenue, or business interruption. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to FlightMaint in the twelve (12) months preceding any claim.

6. Data Ownership & Retention

All data entered by your organization remains your property. You may export your data at any time during your active subscription. Upon subscription termination:

  • Your data will remain accessible in read-only mode for 90 days.
  • After 90 days, data may be permanently deleted.
  • You are responsible for maintaining your own backup copies of maintenance records as required by 14 CFR §91.417 (maintenance records retention requirements).

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FlightMaint and its developers from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to: your use of the Service, aircraft maintenance decisions made using data from this system, regulatory violations, airworthiness determinations, or your breach of these Terms.

8. Subscription & Billing

The Service is billed at $100 per aircraft per month. Payment is processed through Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled. Upon cancellation, access continues through the end of the current billing period. A 90-day free trial is provided to all new organizations. No credit card is required during the trial period.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions. You should not rely solely on this system for time-critical airworthiness decisions.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree with the modified Terms, you may cancel your subscription.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
